I gave you everything that you wanted and more to spare
I can’t give these directions to steer away my life
But do stand these times I’ll handle everything down
So when can I really try and every single again I’ll
It keeps me asleep when I’m wrong
But it told you every love of mine
It keeps me up forever
At every laughter
It seems to cover in the eyes of a father (I crawled the steps)
I can’t seem to cover when I tra-la-la, when I’m

I like this album, especially for the message that it brings that is really powerful and in line with what happened nowadays. The title and the whole album refers to the Black Lives Matter (red summer refers to the summer of 1919 where white supremacists committed a lot of homicide against black community in USA). The whole album speaks about this, with a lot of reference to historical events (e.g.: 20th August 1619 is the date when the first black slaves were deported in USA). losfastidios

each track uses the fact that its digital hardcore in its own unique way each time, rarely sounding similar to the other despite generally being noisy and in your face. i find this to be especially helped by Machine Girl's usage of unique samples or their own voices, which i can barely understand but honestly it really adds to the charm and aesthetic of this release. i know this album is 7 years old at the time of writing this, but it still holds up incredibly well.
